After a short and enjoyable walk we arrived at our off grid Shepherds hut Fauld o'Wheat . It's a tranquil, spot on a farm on the banks of Loch Ken. It was stunning inside, very comfortable and had a great wood burning stove.

On our final day we drove down to Gatehouse of Fleet and did a cycle to Creetown and back. It was a fantastic road road to cycle on. Very quiet and scenic as it wound its was through the hills to Creetown. There is a very interesting
heritage museum in Creetown which is well worth a visit.
